Royal Salute was created to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and has since been the official partner of all ceremonial royal gun salutes fired at the Tower of London.
The Tower of London has a rich history and remains, among other things, the longstanding guardian of the Royal Regalia: a collection of precious jewels and highly symbolic objects of the British royal family across its reigning generations.
Known the world over as the Crown Jewels, they symbolise the power and continuity of the British Monarchy and the coronation regalia has been worn by kings and queens for centuries, including Queen Elizabeth II.
These priceless treasures served as the inspiration for creating a rare and precious whisky fit for a queen Just as the Crown Jewels are vigilantly watched over at the Tower of London, Royal Salute’s rare collection of precious casks is carefully safeguarded, some under lock and key in our Speyside Vaults. It is these ‘treasures,’ our exceptional whiskies that are patiently matured for a quarter of a century, that are included in this powerful 25 Year Old expression, imparting a depth of flavour that only time allows. The Treasured Blend continues Royal Salute’s legacy of distinction for elegantly crafted Scotch whisky.
The whisky is housed in a beautifully crafted porcelain flagon enhanced with sophisticated gold detailing and adorned with a jewelled stopper.
“The additional years spent in high quality oak casks from our precious collection result in a perfectly rich, powerful whisky with a remarkably long finish. It is complex and robust with decadent sweetness complemented by hints of spices.”Royal Salute Master Blender, Sandy Hyslop.
The whisky is housed in a beautifully crafted porcelain flagon enhanced with sophisticated gold detailing and adorned with a jewelled stopper.

Each flagon is individually numbered with a base stamp on the underside of the flagon.
